SARCÓFAGO (Brazil) -

Scavenger is a Heavy Metal band from Balen, Antwerp, they released only one album "Battlefields"

SEPULTURA (Brazil) ) - Sepultura was a Brazilian Thrash Metal band founded by the brothers Max and Igor Cavalera.

Sepultura's timeline:

1984 - Sepultura formed in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, by Igor Cavalera and Max Cavalera.

1985 First stable line-up with:

  • Max Cavalera (Guitars)
  • Igor Cavalera (Drums)
  • Wagner Lamounier (Vocals)
  • Paulo Jr. Lamounier (Bass)

1985 March
Paulo Jr. Lamounier leaves Sepultura to join SARCÓFAGO

1985 April?
Max Cavalero takes up singing
Jairo Guedes (Lead Guitar)

1985 June
Sepultura signs contract with Cogumelo Records

1985 August
Bestial Devastation (Split EP)

1986
1986 August
Sepultura is recording their first full length album:

1987 February
Jairo Guedes (Lead Guitar) leaves Sepultura
Andreas Kisser (Lead Guitar) joins the band

1991
SEPULTURA - Releases the album "Arise".

SEPULTURA - Arise is recorded at: Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Florida. During 1991 Sepultura tours Europe to promote their new album "Arise". From the concert in Barcelona, Spain 31st May 1991 the 12" Maxi-Single "Arise" is released. The album is produced and engineered by Scott Burns who has been working with Sepultura for many years.

SEPULTURA - Chaos A.D.

SORTILÈGE (FR) - Sortilège was a French heavy metal band from Paris, formed in 1981 as "Bloodwave" by:

  • Christian "Zouille" Augustin (Vocals)
  • Daniel "Lapin" Lapp (Bass)
  • Jean-Philippe "Bob" Dumont (Drums)
  • Stephane "L'Anguille" Dumont (Guitars)
  • Didier "Dem" Demajean (Guitars)

1982 - Sortilège released their first record on the "Rave On" record label. This was the self-sitled EP: "Sortilège"

1983 - Sortilège signs up with "Madrigal Records" and releases their first full length album: "Métamorphose" recorded in French. Later during 1983 this album is re-recorded in English.

1986 - Sortilège releases "Larmes de Héros", which is later also re-recorded in English.
